Meridian Tools is a fictional mid-sized machinery exporter used to show a repeatable pattern: a company with great products, a weak website, and no systematic way to turn visitors into inquiries. This is how they fixed it in one quarter.
Where they started
Meridian sold CNC accessories to buyers in Europe and Southeast Asia. Their site was a single English page with a contact form buried at the bottom. In a typical month they received about 40 inquiries, mostly from repeat customers, and almost no organic traffic from outside their home market.
What changed
They rebuilt the site around product categories, published ten SEO articles targeting long-tail buyer questions, added English and Chinese versions, and put a visible inquiry form on every product page. Each article linked back to the relevant category — the classic informational-to-transactional bridge.
The numbers
- 120+ inquiries in month three, up from ~40
- 3× organic traffic from target markets
- 38 qualified RFQs logged in the inquiry dashboard
What you can copy
You do not need a new product to repeat this. You need categories that match how buyers search, content that answers their questions, and an inquiry path that is impossible to miss.
